The closure of the Silver Slipper as reported by 'In The Pink', April 1987.

OBITUARY

The Silver Slipper, so named after the Silver Slipper dance studio on the corner of Hill St & Station St, has been filled in. Consequently Birmingham City has lost a fine example of Edwardian architecture. The slipper has been the scene of many a police entrapment by Agent Provocateurs in it's long and colourful history and will be a sorely missed facility.
